Me In The Desert from QVegas Magazine

Welcome to

Thanks for visiting my site. I am your host and resident Mac Geek Paul Scott. Projects abound! Pardon the dust and please forgive the basic nature of the website. It is only temporary as I am revamping it to provide better and more up to date content. I am taking down the sites that were previously done in iWeb, and I am for now forsaking Dreamweaver for this project to write this site strictly using Bare Bones Software BBEdit. So it might be a little basic to start off but more content will be added slowly and I will be tweaking the CSS until I get the site looking just right. I welcome design suggestions.

Podcast is up and running

My friend Jeff and I have finally got the Tech Bits Podcast up and running. Setting up the gear at home has been a blast. So far I am running a Behringer Xynex 1832USB Mixer with a Sony Dynamic Microphone and Seinheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones. I am still trying to decide what kind of Mic I want to use. My Mac-Mini, MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone are all connected to the mixer. Jeff and I do the show via Skype on Sunday evenings and also stream live on UStream. Visit us on Or subscribe to our podcast on iTunes.

Starting a new business

After some delays due to naming issues I am pleased to announce that my new company TMG Consulting is close to an offical launch. Check back to my website for more information over the next few weeks.

Las Vegas Mac Users Group

In 2010 I was elected President of my local Mac Users Group. For the two years prior to that I had served as Vice-President and WebMaster of the club Where ever you live make sure you visit your local Mac Users Group. It is a great way to get to know fellow Mac Users and learn helpful tips and tricks to make the most of your Mac. If you are in Las Vegas come see me at our next meeting!

Launching a Mac Tech blog over the last year has been fun and I have made a great effort at writing every week. This last semester of school has made it difficult to get my writting done every week but I will make every effort to get a post up on a regular basis. If you want to stay current on what I am blogging follow me on Twitter and Facebook to find out what I am writing about next.

Currently I am taking iPhone Programming and Web Development Classes which is why I am making so many changes to my personal website implementing things I have been doing in class and using this site for class projects as well as keeping everyone up-to-date with what I am doing.

Recently I added a new page with presentations that I have given in the past. Feel free to contact me if you would like me to present to your group. More presentations will be coming in the future as well.
